Allen brings 25 of hands-on electric utility experience across transmission and distribution systems. Allen began his career in line construction and advanced through an apprenticeship with PSO/AEP, later serving as a serviceman and troubleshooter with responsibility for voltage control, outage response, and system reliability. He has supported storm restoration efforts across the southern and eastern U.S., working across multiple utility systems and equipment platforms. He also brings direct experience with Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and distribution automation, along with a proven track record of working with manufacturers to solve real-world field challenges
